A LITTLE BIT OF HAPPY

Yesterday I was in need of a little bit of happy, so I whipped up this quick and easy project that would give me something to look at and smile. I have been wanting to do something like this since I saw THIS. (Hopefully that link works!) It was a super quick and easy project, and I just used stuff that I already had on hand..............ribbon, lace, an old raggedy pair of brown cords, and brads. Anyway, here is the before:

I wanted everything to be removable in case I want to change it down the road, so I just adhered the flowers to the ribbon and glued the ribbon in a circle that will just slide over the top of the lampshade. I have repositioned the ribbon many times, (I currently have them positioned differently than they are in these pictures) and I am still not sure if I like where they are at. So if you are planning on coming to my house anytime soon be prepared to spend some time staring at my lampshades and watching me reposition my flowers so you can give me your opinion! I do love how they turned out though, and it did put a smile on my face.........and one more project to check off my list!
